“Practicing as a counsellor, therapist and coach since 2010, it has been my privilege to hear so many stories of courage, resilience, creativity, ingenuity and love. I have come to deeply appreciate the complexity of human nature, and the value of listening.
There is a wonderful connection between the heart and the ears. When we speak with someone about our challenges and concerns, it really means something to us, and makes a difference, when they listen with their heart. This is the kind of counsellor I strive to be. Fully present for your story and for your experience as you tell it.
I have extensive education and experience in the fields of counselling psychology, health sciences, nutrition, wellness, Chinese Medicine, solutions-focused therapy, emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Gestalt, and life coaching. This thorough training has honed the wide range of counselling skills and coaching strategies that contribute to my practice of holistic counselling for the whole self.
My mission is to provide you with the highest quality of counselling possible so that you can enjoy excellent benefits and maximize your well being, fulfillment and happiness.
I am devoted to this work because for me it is the highest honour and vocation – to be able to genuinely help someone in ways that are truly meaningful for them.
Besides counselling, I have a life-long interest in creative writing, stories, philosophy, health, exercise and nutrition. I also enjoy walking and cycling outside, reading and painting.
I welcome and would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about any questions you might have about counselling or the way I work. The free 20-minute phone call is a very safe way to get a sense of my voice and style and to see how you feel with no obligation. Feel free to call, and if I can’t pick up, I’ll call you back asap.”
